Frequently Asked Questions

Please reach us at cubpack3410@gmail.com if you cannot find an answer to your question.

A den is a group of children who are in the same grade.  There are six dens in a pack: Lions (kindergarten), Tigers (1st grade), Wolves (2nd grade), Bears (3rd grade), Webelos (4th grade), Arrow of Light (5th grade).  Dens meet twice on a month, on a Monday evening, from September to May.  A pack is the larger organization, made up of all the dens.  The pack meets once a month, on a Friday evening.  The pack meeting brings together all the cub scouts, their families, and the den leaders for special activities and for the cub scouts to receive their achievement awards.

We organize a variety of activities throughout the year, including twice a month den meetings, and once a month pack meetings. We also host our annual Pine Wood Derby, the Blue and Gold Banquet, other events to provide opportunities for learning and growth for our cub scouts.

Cub scout uniforms serve a dual purpose, demonstrating that a scout is part of a team and showing individual achievement (scouts wear the badges they've earned).  We ask our scouts to wear their uniforms or Pack 3410 shirts to our den meetings and pack meetings, except for special occasions.

Uniforms can be purchased at local Scout Stores in Ogden or Orem; or online at www.scoutshop.org.  We also have some used uniforms and new Pack 3410 shirts available for sale.

Anyone who shares our mission and values is welcome to join our pack. We welcome members from all backgrounds and experiences, and we believe that diversity and inclusivity are essential to our success.

If you are new to Cub Scouts, we invite you to attend our annual Parent Orientation, held each August, to learn more about Cub Scouts and Pack 3410.

We welcome kids to our pack year round, too.  Just reach out to us at cubpack3410@gmail.com and we'll get back to you with more information.
